Connection Types

WiFi (Infrastructure)

Connects through your router. Most recommended for offices.

WiFi Direct

Printer creates own network. Useful for guests.

Ethernet

Most reliable for high-volume printers.

Menu > Network > WLAN > Setup Wizard > Enable > Select > Connect

Settings > Device > LAN > Wireless LAN > Select network

Settings > Network/Ports > Wireless > Setup On Panel

Mobile Printing

Apple AirPrint

Same WiFi network — just tap Share > Print. No app needed.

Android

Settings > Connected Devices > Printing > Enable Default Print Service.

Troubleshooting

Not Found

• Same WiFi network?
• AP isolation enabled on router?
• Restart printer and router
• Ping printer IP

Connection Drops

• Move closer to router or add extender
• Change WiFi channel
• Disable sleep mode WiFi disconnect
• Assign static IP

Security

• Change default admin password
• Disable FTP, Telnet, SNMP v1/v2
• Enable HTTPS
• Use separate VLAN
• Disable WiFi Direct if using infrastructure
